This month will be a celebration of travel. I am so grateful for the many opportunities I’ve had over my nearly thirty years to explore the world. Click here to read about my 2013 November Gratitude Project – Travel

As a member of The Texas Boys Choir I had many great opportunities afforded me to experience new and amazing things. I am so grateful for the experiences I had with the choir, and as part of this gratitude project will share a couple of travel experiences I had as a singing boy.

The choir took me all over Texas, to more than 15 states, and three countries. We performed in grand concert halls, glorious cathedrals and just about every venue in between. We sang with Carol Burnett and Frederica Von Stade, at the inauguration party for then-Governor George W. Bush with the Oak Ridge Boys on the program, and at weddings galore.

I’ll share a post about our participation in the International Boys Choir Festival in Riga, Latvia later in the month, and I may highlight some other things in other posts. However, in this post I thought I would share some images of the more memorable travels or adventures with the choir from my scrapbook.
