2013 Gratitude Project – Two Seasons with The Forgotten Carols

This month will be a celebration of travel. I am so grateful for the many opportunities I’I’ve had over my nearly thirty years to explore the world. Click here to read about my 2013 November Gratitude Project – Travel

From Thanksgiving until just before Christmas in 2005 and 2006, I was a part of the crew for Michael McLean’s The Forgotten Carols – a fun theatrical music production. Though most of our tour destinations were in Utah, we did go to a few places I hadn’t spent much if any time in. This tour took me to Seattle the two times I’ve been, took me to Las Vegas for longer than a night, and to Phoenix for the first time.

Their tour for this year has just begun with their first show in Heber, Utah on Friday. I still try to make it to a show each year since the crew and cast are like extended family. Today, I thought I would share a few pictures from my adventures with them. I can’t wait to see them in Phoenix on December 23.

When I look back at the last ten years, I can see how one thing led to another and know that my path was guided by something higher than me. My time with the FC family took led me to my three years at BYU with the Young Ambassadors. I am grateful for them taking me along for the journey. I am grateful for the experiences I had with them and what it led to in my life. Now, because my mom said she missed me writing this at the end of my posts: Remember, adventure is out there, so go have one!

I saw in the first paragraph that Seattle would be incorporated in this post. Then I saw the Chihuly glass, and I thought, he went to the glass museum in Tacoma! (Chihuly is based in Seattle.) I laughed when I saw it was in the Bellagio.
