Escalators of the NCPA

My favorite building in Beijing is the National Center for the Performing Arts. It is a stunning piece of architecture that mirrors what happens in the three venues inside. I took my brother to explore this beautiful building. As one of my favorite architects would say, every time you visit a great piece of architecture, you see something new and different. That’s what I experience every time I visit the NCPA.

This trip in particular, I noticed the amazing art made by the escalators throughout the building.

While we were visiting the open theaters, we happened to be in the concert hall during a rehearsal. It was beautiful. We stood there for about 10 minutes listening to a beautiful symphony.
