This is a photo book of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Scottsdale, Arizona home and studio – Taliesin West. I took all of these photos when I worked for the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation as a tour guide and development associate at this magnificent masterpiece of organic architecture. When I left the foundation, I made this Taliesin West photo book as a gift for some of my coworkers and as a memento for myself.
My bucket list includes visiting as many of Wright’s works as possible. I’ve been to many, but Taliesin West holds a special place since I got to know it very well. I experienced it through Arizona’s nearly unbearable summers. I watched the desert come to life in the spring. I watched wildlife interact with the organic structures. I came to love Wright’s amazing camp.
